Harold Phillips
is an actor, podcaster and unions communication specialist based in Bellingham Washington. He's a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors' Equity Association and AFSCME.

Harold leads LHF’s social media work, with daily or near-daily posting and promotion of LHF programs. He serves as LHF’s webmaster and is a key technical and strategic resource for the website and database projects. Harold also devotes substantial time to identifying and chasing down stories and working closely with the Executive Director to research, develop, and craft the weekly LHF newsletter. As part of the radio/podcast production team, he helps identify stories and guests, conducts interviews, and assists with production and editing. He also works on the Labor Radio Podcast Network and related projects.

Harold was born in Germany to an American military family. Growing up he lived in places around the U.S. including El Paso, Texas; Chaparral, New Mexico; White Bear Lake, Minnesota; and Anchorage, Alaska.

Harold began collaborating with LHF Executive Director Chris Garlock to expand The Labor Radio Podcast Network in 2020. Over the years he grew to appreciate LHF's mission to preserve, promote, and strengthen the culture, history, and arts of the American labor movement and he joined LHF's staff in 2026.

Harold still performs in front of the camera and behind the microphone in addition to working with LHF. He also works with several medical training institutions as a standardized patient. When he's not acting or working on LHF projects Harold attempts to play the electric bass and not embarrass himself.
