Tune in to the
Labor Heritage Power Hour
Thursday, March 19th
at
1:00 PM Eastern
on
WPFW 89.3 FM
in Washington DC (or
stream the show online
) to find out which film will be named Labor Film of the Year!
Is there a film you'd like to see added to the nomination list for next year's Labor Oscars? Let us know at
info@laborheritage.org
!
The Labor Oscars
is a yearly celebration of the great Labor films that showcase the Labor movement and inspire us to stand together in solidarity with our fellow workers.
Our friends at
Power At Work
pioneered this annual commemoration of the movies that motivate us, and in 2026 the Labor Heritage Foundation is proud to continue the tradition they started.
Every year we ask
our members
to nominate the best films of the year.
Once nominations close members vote to determine which song(s) should win the Labor Oscar for best Labor film Of The Year.
The winner(s) are announced on
Labor Heritage Power Hour
the week after the official Oscars telecast.
It's a fun way to honor the films that educate, inspire, and document the ongoing story of labor in our communities and around the world. Want to suggest a film for consideration? Send a link to us at
