About this event
An observational civic epic, Emergent City revolves around Industry City, New York's largest privately owned industrial property. As global developers aim to transform the Brooklyn waterfront complex into an "Innovation District," the film explores the ensuing conflicts involving local immigrant communities, the city council, and developers over the neighborhood's future.
