About this event

Newsies is a high-energy musical based on the true story of the 1899 New York City newsboys’ strike, where a group of young paper sellers fight back against powerful newspaper publishers who raise distribution prices at their expense. Led by the charismatic Jack Kelly, the newsies band together to demand fair treatment, facing challenges of loyalty, justice, and finding their voices. This show celebrates courage, friendship, and the power of standing up for what’s right.

StarStruck Theatre Youth Performing Arts' production of Newsies opens on July 25th and runs through August 9th. Let’s support our local kids as they bring musical theatre to life!
