About this event

Have you seen the people of Minneapolis singing in the streets, using collective action to support their neighbors and demand justice? Come be inspired and join the Seattle Labor Chorus at our annual concert to celebrate the power of collective resistance and support our mission of giving voice in song to the cause of economic, social, and racial justice.

We stand in solidarity with the message of our fellow singers in Minnesota who have affirmed for all people, “ohh it's okay to sing your mind, and you can join us, join us here anytime.” Together, we are rallying resistance through song!

Both IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL ZOOM tickets are available!

The following organizations will have a representative at our concert and will give a short presentation.  Stop by their tables to learn more!

Starbucks Workers United will be joining us.  Starbucks workers around the country are experiencing the same, systemic problems. Every day across the U.S., there is short staffing, unpredictable scheduling, low pay, rising healthcare costs, harassment, broken equipment, and unfair discipline.  That’s why baristas nationwide are building real power together and standing up to one of the most well-known brands in the world.

We are happy to have TRACTION, short for TRANS COMMUNITY ACTION, joining us. Founded in 2019, TRACTION is a trans-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Washington state. Their mission is to cultivate connection, visibility, and belonging for transgender and gender-diverse people through service in support of under-served communities.

Our auction is live from Saturday April 18th at 9am and will remain open until Monday April 27th at 9pm.
More information will be available in April!

Join us as we celebrate the struggle for our rights in this very important mid-term election year. Our fundraising goal for this event is $20,000.

If you wish to donate to the Seattle Labor Chorus and do not want a ticket, please DONATE HERE.

The Seattle Labor Chorus is a non-profit, membership organization. All singers pay dues and contribute in other ways as well. Annual donations from unions and other labor organizations also enable us to support workers’ struggles at picket lines and rallies. Financial support from our fans and supporters in the community is essential to cover expenses so we can keep singing for justice, safety, peace, and power for all working people.

"The Seattle Labor Chorus is reawakening the labor movements’ recognition that we express our better
selves through music and song; that we organize better through music and song;
and that singing is damn fun!”

-Jeff Johnson, former President, Washington State Labor Council
