November 12, 2025 Historian and legal scholar John Fabian Witt, Yale University Law School, presents from his new book, The Radical Fund: How a Band of Visionaries and a Million Dollars Upended America, on the Garland Fund; an organization with ties to Detroit and research from the Reuther collections.  Witt is the author of The Accidental Republic: Crippled Workingmen, Destitute Widows, and the Remaking of American Law (2004), and other award-winning books.  Sponsored by the Fraser Center for Workplace Issues, the Department of History, and the Law School.  4 p.m. Reuther Library 2nd Floor Conference Room.
