Walk with David Schooley
Labor unionists and environmentalists both confront the same commercial interests. In 1968, David Schooley chained himself to a bulldozer at the foot of the San Bruno Mountain. The activism of David and many other community members was crucial in protecting much of the mountain, allowing for the creation of the public park where working people can find tremendous beauty and peace nearby the cities where they live and work.

You are invited to walk with David on the mountain and learn about the history of this remarkable refuge for endangered butterflies and rare native plants.

Limits to 10 people
