About this event

MAY 1ST INTERNATIONAL WORKER SOLIDARITY DAY CELEBRATION: Friends, it's not a memorial to Irish Miners. It's a memorial to Irish and non-Irish Paupers, a marker of the human toll of industrial labor and the exploitation of immigrant labor. Join us May 1st as we celebrate the true meaning of the memorial and the struggle to infuse this working-class memorial with the spirit of solidarity. Sponsored by the UCD Critical, Emerging Issues Speaker Series, the Rocky Mountain Irish Roots Collective, and the Colorado Labor Education Collaborative.
