POSTAL WORKERS MUSEUM TOUR (DC LABORFEST)

About this event

Special tour of the APWU History Center, “The Struggle Continues,” which recognizes and shares the history of postal workers and their union, highlighting postal workers’ courage, unity, and collective action!

The center offers an inspirational look into our history including the Great Postal Strike of 1970 and the merger of the five unions into one American Postal Workers Union. It highlights some of the APWU’s struggles, campaigns and victories – such as the ongoing fight against postal privatization, for strong union contracts and safe workplaces, organizing the unorganized, vote-by-mail, legislative challenges, and much more.
