Looking for a shot of movement music and inspiration? The DC Labor Chorus promises to have you
on your feet, clapping, and singing along at their annual Spring Concert on Saturday, May 3 at 3 p.m. ET at Luther Place Memorial Church in downtown Washington, D.C.
Held in honor of International Workers Day, this year’s concert features two exciting guest performers: internationally acclaimed folk artist Joe Jencks and DC’s own powerhouse women’s social justice a cappella group, SongRise DC.
More than just a concert, the event is the DC Labor Chorus’s only annual fundraiser, supporting this all-volunteer ensemble of labor rights and justice singers. Proceeds help the group continue its mission as “the musical arm of the resistance,” bringing social change music to the DC metro area and beyond.
🎟️ Tickets are $30 in advance for in-person attendance, with livestream and pay-what-you-can options available. Don’t miss it—get your tickets today!
