    Love Songs From the Liberation Wars: The 1940s Tobacco Workers Struggle  ia a labor jazz opera by Steve Jones about the RJ Reynolds tobacco strike of 1943. The story was that, as long as the owners kept black and white workers separate, they had no chance to organize. By crossing the color line, they became much stronger. This video is to assist in fund raising for future performances.  Directed by Elise Bryant.

    Addressing An Historical Injustice From WWII

    Betty Reid Soskin, the 94-year-old National Park Ranger at the Rosie the Riveter World War II Home Front National Historic Park, worked at the Kaiser Shipyards in the 1940s.  In this video Newton B. Jones, president of the Boilermakers Union, apologizes to her and to all the former members of  segregated IBB auxiliary locals.
